Levering
Delivery and breakage
Last updated 13 August 2026
Ceramic is the awkward thing to post: heavy for its size and unforgiving of a dropped parcel. This page covers what it costs, how long it takes, how we pack it, and what happens on the days when it does not survive the journey.
Rates and times
| Destination | Price, incl. moms | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Denmark, tracked parcel | DKK 45 · free over DKK 600 | 1–3 working days |
| Sweden, Norway, Finland | DKK 89 | 3–6 working days |
| Rest of the EU | DKK 119 | 4–8 working days |
| Rest of the world | DKK 199 | 7–16 working days |
- Times are working days from dispatch, not from when you ordered.
- We pack within one working day of a confirmed order.
- Every parcel is tracked. The tracking link goes to the email address on the order.
- The free-delivery threshold applies to standard delivery within Denmark and is calculated on the goods total including moms, after any discount.
How a cup is packed

- Each cup goes into its own moulded pulp cushion, then into a double-wall box with at least 30 mm of clearance on every side.
- Multiple cups are separated by dividers so they cannot touch each other. Rims are the first thing to chip when two cups meet in transit.
- Packaging is paper, board and moulded pulp — no plastic bubble wrap, no polystyrene loose fill. It is all kerbside recyclable.
- We do not claim the packaging is drop-proof. It is good packaging for a fragile object, which is a different and more honest thing to say.
If something arrives broken
Tell us within 14 days of delivery
Photograph the outer box (including any damage to it), the cushioning as you found it, and the broken piece. Email all of it to support@unikakceramics.shop with your order reference.
- Do not throw the packaging away until the claim is settled. The carrier sometimes asks to see it, and without it a claim can fail.
- We reply within one working day and, in almost every case, send a replacement straight away rather than waiting for the carrier.
- If you would rather have the money back than a replacement, say so and we refund the full price of the broken item including its share of the delivery charge.
- You are never asked to pay return postage on a breakage. If we need the pieces back we send a prepaid label.
The 14-day window is for transit damage specifically, because that is what a carrier claim needs. A cup that develops a fault later is covered for two years by the right to complain, which is a separate and longer right.
Missing parcels
If tracking says delivered and the parcel is not with you, check with neighbours and any parcel shop named in the tracking, then tell us. We open a carrier investigation, which typically takes five working days, and we replace or refund at the end of it. If a carrier left a parcel somewhere you did not authorise, that is on us to resolve, not on you.
Countries and legal restrictions
- We deliver across the EU, the Nordics and, on request, most of the rest of the world.
- We cannot ship to destinations subject to EU sanctions or export restrictions, and we cannot ship to an address we are prohibited from serving. If your order falls into that category we cancel it and refund in full — nothing is charged.
- Tableware and drinking vessels are ordinary consumer goods and are not themselves subject to export licensing.
Duty and import tax outside the EU
Orders leaving the EU may be charged import duty, local sales tax and a customs handling fee by the destination country. Those are set and collected by that country’s authorities, are payable by the recipient, and are not something we can quote, absorb or refund. We declare the true value and description on every customs form — we will not mark a parcel as a gift or under-declare it, and please do not ask.
If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs and returns to us, we refund the goods but not the outbound delivery cost.
Packaging and recycling
Producer responsibility for packaging applies in Denmark, and unika:k ApS reports the packaging it places on the market as required. Nothing we send needs special disposal — box, pulp and paper all go in ordinary paper and card recycling.
Collection
We are not a shop and there is no counter to call at, so we do not offer collection from the registered address.
