Complaints and dispute resolution

Start with us. Most things are settled in one email, and we would much rather fix a problem than argue about it. If that does not work, here is exactly where to go next.

1. Complain to us first

Email support@unikakceramics.shop or call +45 23 76 94 18. Include your order reference and, where it helps, a photograph.

  • We acknowledge within one working day.
  • We aim to resolve within five working days, and tell you if it will take longer.
  • If we decide against you we will say why, in writing, and point you at the bodies below.

Before complaining, it is worth checking which right applies: 14-day withdrawal for changing your mind, two-year complaint right for a fault, and delivery for something broken in transit.

2. Center for Klageløsning

If we cannot agree, the Danish mediation service will try to settle it between us. It is the first stop for consumer complaints in Denmark.

  • There is a fee to file, which is refunded if the complaint succeeds. Minimum claim thresholds apply and are set out on their site.

3. Forbrugerklagenævnet

If mediation does not settle it, the Danish Consumer Complaints Board takes a formal decision. Same address and portal as above — a case moves there automatically when mediation fails.

4. EU online dispute resolution

If you live in another EU country, the European Commission’s ODR platform will route your complaint to the right national body:

Complaints about how a product is described or advertised go to Forbrugerombudsmanden, the Danish Consumer Ombudsman, who enforces Markedsføringsloven — forbrugerombudsmanden.dk. If you think anything on this site overstates what a cup does, we would like to hear it from you first, but you are entitled to go straight there.

6. Personal data

Complaints about how we handle personal data go to Datatilsynet — see the privacy policy for the address.

7. Governing law

Contracts made through this site are governed by the law of Denmark. As a consumer you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country where you live, and nothing here takes that away.
