This site uses very little. Everything below is first-party — nothing is set by an advertiser, and there is no tracking pixel anywhere on the site.
Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting
The Danish Cookie Order requires that refusing non-essential cookies be no harder than accepting them. On this site both buttons are the same size, the same shape, side by side, and one click each. There is no “manage preferences” maze behind the reject button and no pre-ticked boxes anywhere.
What is set, and when
| Name | Type | What it does | Lasts | Needs consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| daycup.cart.v1 | Local storage | Remembers what is in your basket between visits | Until you clear it | No — strictly necessary for a service you asked for |
| daycup.cookies.v1 | Local storage | Remembers your answer to the cookie banner, so it stops asking | Until you clear it | No — it exists to honour your choice |
| cf_clearance / Turnstile | Cookie, first-party | Confirms a form was submitted by a person rather than a script. Set only when you submit a form | Session | No — strictly necessary for security |
| Usage measurement | Cookie | Counts page views so we know which cups people look at. Not set unless you press Accept | 13 months | Yes |
Nothing in the last row is set before you choose. If you press “Reject non-essential”, or simply ignore the banner, it is never set at all.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media pixels or share widgets that phone home.
- No cross-site tracking, no data brokers, no fingerprinting.
- No third-party fonts or scripts loaded from someone else’s server.
Changing your mind
Clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will ask again on your next visit. In Chrome and Edge that is Settings → Privacy → Site settings; in Safari, Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data; in Firefox, Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Clearing it also empties your basket, since that is stored the same way.
You can also block cookies entirely in your browser. This site still works — you will just lose your basket when you close the tab.
