A beech handle with soft plant-fibre bristles, shaped to reach the inside corner where the wall meets the base. Use this and not a steel scourer: steel wool scratches glaze, and a scratched glaze holds coffee oils and stains. Not a food contact article.

How to use it
- Microwave
- Not suitable.Not a drinking vessel — do not put it in a microwave.
- Dishwasher
- Hand wash. A dishwasher will dull this finish over time.
- Temperature
- Avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not pour boiling water into a cold cup straight from the fridge, and do not move a hot cup into cold water — ceramic can crack from thermal shock.
- Variation
- Each cup is finished by hand, so dimensions vary by up to ±5% and no two glazes are identical. Variation in colour, glaze pooling and small surface pinholes are characteristics of the process, not faults.
